An Independent, Family Owned laundry built on the philosophy of “it’s the service that makes the difference”
Three generations of the Turvill family, 80+ years of reliability, and two of the most environmentally friendly laundries in the country – serving customers across East Anglia and the Midlands.
Why we’re called “Swiss Camplings”
Our name is derived from the Swiss finish once given to table linen – but over the years we’ve built a recognisable brand around all things Swiss: reliability, quality, efficiency and clean freshness. That’s why the Swiss flag is our logo.
The Turvill family has run the laundry for over 80 years, now into its third generation with Chairman Guy Turvill and Managing Director Richard Turvill. The business is still run on old-fashioned family values, with a real focus on detail and customer service.
In 2004, the Swiss Laundry acquired Camplings Linen (an independent laundry based in Great Yarmouth) as part of the Company’s plans for growth. This sister company still operates from the same site in Great Yarmouth and provides the same quality Commercial Linen & Laundry services to Customers throughout Norfolk & Suffolk.
Both Swiss & Camplings operate to the same philosophy that “it’s the service that makes the difference”.
